Childhood pneumonia is leading killer of children globally. Diagnosis before pneumonia becomes acute is critical to saving the lives of so many children around the globe.

Masimo is a leader in the pulse oximeter space leveraging the innovative SET signal processing technologies. Masimo in collaboration with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation worked on a device to make accurate pneumonia screening easier.

I led a nearly two year design research effort to support Masimo engineering to build the Rad-G. We developed a unique qualitative and quantitative methodology to generate critical product, Go-to-market, and training and education insights needed to support Masimo's engineering and sales teams as the Rad-G product was completed and introduced to the market. This work involved dozens of people across at least five time zones and in four countries.
